We have not set ourselves up to be the “right” way to do church. We fully believe that we are a participant in a larger Kingdom effort made up of churches all over the world. However, there are some foundational beliefs that you should be familiar with to help you understand PC3 a little better. We make no apologies for our allegiance to Jesus Christ and our submission to the Scriptures as the final authority. And to the degree that churches operate within that context, we count ourselves a part of God’s redemptive plan. But we reject the notion that we are one of many ways to reach God. The Bible clearly states that no one “can come to the Father but through Jesus Christ” (John 14:6).
Our mission is not to get people to believe a certain way, but to help you walk with God. But it is important to nail down some of the core beliefs that keep us centered and focused. What you will read in our statement of faith is just an affirmation of Historical Christianity and we understand that we are just a continuation of what God has already been doing.
These statements will help you understand where we are coming from and why we do what we do.
