How is safety and security addressed in Treasure Island?
Security tags are provided for all volunteers, nametags are provided for all children, registration forms have any vital information, and check-in and check-out procedures are enforced. Also, screening for all Treasure Island volunteers includes a criminal background check, training, and interviews by TI staff.
What if Treasure Island needs to contact me during the service?
In the event that Treasure Island staff needs to contact a parent, the number on the ID tag will be displayed at the bottom of the screen in the auditorium. Come to the entry point of the auditorium, and a staff member will escort you to your child. You will need an ID tag that matches the child's in order to pick him or her up.
What is the evacuation policy for Treasure Island?
In the unlikely event that we need to evacuate the building because of a fire alarm, the kids will be escorted outside the building in a timely manner. We ask parents to follow the pick-up policy and meet us at the designated areas only. Do not try to come directly into the Treasure Island environment. Your children will be evacuated to the area outside of the Studio 3 entrance at the opposite end of the building from the Main Auditorium, and you can pick them up there.
