Have you ever felt like you have a split personality? Most of the time you want to do the right thing, have good relationships with your parents and friends, stay out of trouble . . . But every now and then the urge to rebel is there, and it’s real, and you just have to give in. I think that most of us struggle with knowing we’re supposed to do the right thing and the desire to do the wrong thing. In this series, we’re going to take a look at who we are and how to live with integrity—how to get rid of the split personality.
Ripple Effect has taken back Wednesday night. That’s right, we’re now having RE on Wednesday nights, and in this first series, we’re asking the question, “What is the church?” Why do we do what we do at Ripple Effect? Why did we move to Wednesday night? Why do we do small groups? Ultimately, what should the church be—and more importantly (since we are the church) what should WE be? We’ll be answering those questions and more in this first series on Wednesday nights.
Have you ever been through a storm? Oh, sure, we all have been through a real life, weather-related storm of some kind, but each one of us has faced a disappointment, a heartache, a challenge that may not have seemed big to everyone else, but to us it was huge. Life is filled with storms. Every person is either in a storm now, has just come through a storm, or one is on the way—and you just do not know about it. Some storms can devastate everything around them. Other storms just make a mess. But if storms are inevitable, then how we do we weather the ones that come along? And what do we do after the storm has moved through and we are left dealing with the aftermath?
From moving furniture, to watching a movie, to serving in a ministry, most things are better when you can share it with someone else. The same holds true to your walk with God. In this series we're going to take a look at how your walk can be better, faster, warmer, and stronger when you do it with someone else who is going in the same direction!

Disabilities. . . Homosexuality. . . Death. . . Prejudice. Not necessarily topics you talk about a lot--especially at church. The thing is we know that even though you may not not talking about them, we know you're thinking about them. So we're going to talk about them over the next few weeks at Ripple Effect. What does the Bible have to say, and how can we be the church that Jesus intends us to be?

We're going to assume that at some point in the last few years you've noticed the opposite sex and have found a few things you like about them. We're also going to assume that you want to marry someone you love, have that marriage last forever, and enjoy both physical and emotional intimacy with that person. The problem is that right now you're stuck in between the two. You're interested in the opposite sex, but marriage is an idea that is so far away from where you are right now. In this series we're going to ask the questions, "What do I do now? What does God have to say about dating? Can I date? If not dating, then what?" The bottom line is that God cares about you, your dating situation and your future marriage. Join us Sunday nights as we figure out what to do when we're stuck "In Between."
