Most of us in our early 20's get bombarded all the time with questions about what we do, as if this should define us in some way. Our hope in this series is to share that God is more concerned about who we are and why we are on this journey of life. God should be our motivation, our purpose, our identity. We should glorify Him no matter what we do!

Breathe is a series that will help us understand that there is joy in our obedience to Christ. In the next few weeks, we will explore how to lay our problems down at the cross, and find that there is hope in our tough circumstances; there is hope when we are in a rut--and Christ is the one who provides that hope.

For the next few weeks Brian will be talking about being a good steward with the money that God has entrusted us with. We will talk about being aware of our financial situation, how to deal with debt, and saving money to be in a place to give.

This series is geared to help us taste the sweetness of the scriptures. The Bible is the primary way God reveals himself to us today. We want to read the Bible expecting to hear from God. If we read it in context we can begin to LIVE it.

Rhythm is a regular pattern of activity, such as beats, cycles of seasons, or repeated functions of the body. God has given us the gift of time and we should enjoy it. In Ephesians it tells youthful people to enjoy themselves while honoring God. If we prepare for tomorrow and live for today we can engage in the opportunities that are put in front of us now. If we slow down and enter into God’s rest, we can find our daily rhythm.

While Brian is out of town, Jesse Stephenson and Mark Foland will be speaking at Overflow. Jesse is our Director of Starting Point and shares his story of having a love affair with Christ. Mark is the Director of Tsunami which is the middle school ministry at PC3. He will be sharing through his story how we must have faith and hope in God and persevere through all of life’s chaos.

Our new series, Happily Ever After, focuses on a vision for what dating should be. Brian will talk about God’s ideas of romance, dating in view of marriage and building solid friendships. Don’t miss the last of the four talks where Brian and several other married couples will discuss their experiences from dating and marriage.

What is Worship?  It is our RESPONSE to what we value most.  Does worship only happen in a corporate setting or are we missing the “bigness” of who God is?  What is the point of a worship service anyway?  Psalm 148:13 says “Let them praise the name of God- it’s the only Name worth praising.  His radiance exceeds anything in earth and sky; he’s built a monument- his very own people!”

The way we LIVE our everyday ordinary moments reveals what we worship.  This means that we may be worshiping in ways we are unaware of.  In Romans 12 it tells us to “take your everyday, ordinary life- your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking around life- and place it before God as an offering.  Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him.”  By stepping back and looking at the big picture of God, we can see that he has made EVERYTHING GLORIOIUS in His name.
