Who We Are

Port City Community Church is a non-denominational evangelical church that was started in 1999 right here in Wilmington. Our weekend service is designed with you in mind - the atmosphere is casual and energetic, the music is engaging and high-energy. Everything we do here is meant to help you and your family take your next steps with God. You can visit our “stage of life” tab above to find out more about the ministries we’ve created to help you in your walk with God. To find out more about what we believe as a church, CLICK HERE.

When We Meet

There are four opportunities to attend a weekend service at PC3. These four services are identical and all happen on Sunday--at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Typically, the morning services are our busiest and most crowded, so you may want to consider attending an afternoon service to take advantage of the ample parking and seating available during those times.

Where To Find Us

Port City Community Church is located at 250 Vision Drive in Wilmington, NC. Our campus sits on 32 acres between Market Street and Eastwood Road, just across from Inland Greens Golf Community. The front of the building faces the pond and the main entry doors are located to the left and to the right of the round glass Atrium. For Your Family

At Port City your family's walk with God is as important to us as our own. No matter if your child is learning to walk or learning to drive, we have designed an environment for every member of your family. Below we have listed a brief description of each of the ministries. You can view a copy of our building map to help you navigate where these ministries are located on our campus.

GROW ZONE (Birth – PreK)

If you have children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, then Grow Zone is where you’ll drop them off. You’ll find Grow Zone by going to the rotunda in the center of the building and looking for the Grow Zone signs. The staff there will help you check your child in and find your way through Grow Zone. Grow Zone is offered during each of the four services.

TREASURE ISLAND (K - 5th)

If you have children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, then Treasure Island is where they’ll spend their time. In Treasure Island, kids experience large group worship with dynamic lights and video and live singers all accompanied by a Biblical teaching lesson. Then they’ll be split up into small groups to talk about the lesson and virtue for that day. You can check in your Treasure Island Kids inside the TI Theater just off the main hallway. Just go in the TI Auditorium and look for the appropriate grade table and the host team there will help you check in. Treasure Island is also offered at all four Sunday services.

TSUNAMI (Middle School)

If your kids are in Middle School, then they have two chances to experience Tsunami. Tsunami happens during the 9 AM and the 4 PM service at the end of the building opposite of the main auditorium in a place we call Studio 3. No need to check your kids into Tsunami, they’re in Middle School now, they can handle check in all by themselves. But feel free to stick around and see what goes on during Tsunami… (you may want to bring some earplugs with you – the band is rockin!)

RIPPLE EFFECT (High School)

When your High School kids come to church with you, they will want to go to Ripple Effect, which meets in Studio3 during the 6 PM service. Worship, Teaching and Small Groups take High Schoolers on a journey as they learn to walk with God.

Tips For Your Visit

We want you to have the best experience possible when you visit Port City Community Church. Below we’ve written up a few tips to help make your first experience with us an easy and memorable time.

- Plan to arrive on campus at least 30 minutes prior to the service time

This will give you and your family time to find a parking spot and, if applicable, drop your children off at the appropriate-age ministry in the building. Check-in for our Family Ministries typically begins about 20 minutes prior to the service.

- Check out the café for a free cup of coffee

Once the kids have been checked in, stop by the Café for a free cup of coffee on your way to the auditorium. If you’re running a bit late, you can watch the service from the Café via the live video screens, rather than trying to find a seat in the auditorium once things have started.

- What to expect in the auditorium

After you leave the café with your coffee in hand, make your way to the auditorium for the service--there, our Host Team will give you a program for the day and help you find a seat if you need assistance. Handicap seating is available and listening assistance devices are available should you need help in that area. Just ask a member of our host team and they will direct you. You can plan on the service lasting around 70 minutes.

- Visit Guest Services after the service for more information

When the service is finished, please feel free to stop by Guest Services if you have any questions or need more information about a particular ministry or event.

- Visit our Book Store for additional resources

You may also want to stop by the Book Store located right next to the Café. A CD of that day’s message is always available as well as many books, Bibles and music CDs that may help you in your journey.
