Do you only use professional musicians?

The best answer to this question is "Yes" and "No". Port City Community Church pursues excellence in everything that it does and the musicians and music ministry are no different. We try very hard to not have to contract musicians from outside of the church. We desire that all of the musicians and vocalists be active members of the church body. All of the musicians have a professional attitude and a high proficiency on their respective instruments, and whereas some of them play music for a living, most of them work full-time jobs. When they aren't playing or singing on Sunday morning, most of them can usually be found volunteering in some other capacity within the church.

Who writes the songs you sing?

Many different people write the songs we sing. Some are members of Port City Community Church some are not. Click the Music Last Week link to find out more information about the songs we sing each week.
