Many people have died as a result of civil war in Sudan. Through our work with Answering the Call, PC3 has supported rebuilding, physical relief, and evangelistic efforts in two areas in Southern Sudan. In 2007 PC3's participation in this field was elevated: A short-term team conducted a medical clinic and developed relationships with people in one of the villages served. Another team returned in 2008 and served by training the pastors in telling Bible stories. Ways we currently help meet needs in this area are through provision of mosquito nets, medicines, bicycles and Bibles; by helping build a temporary shelter and school, and providing uniforms for orphans; and by continuing to take short-term teams to help provide medical care and Bible training.
