If you are interested in participating on one of our short term mission teams, complete an application and submit it, along with the required deposit, to PC3 by the deadline. These may be turned in at the reception desk on weekdays, or given to the ‘missions’ host at the information desk on Sundays.

This women’s team will serve alongside PC3’s missionary Cary S. The current plan is that the team will spend time in the local markets exploring materials and developing ideas they’ll then use to help teach the young women of Yetesfa Birhann vocational skills. Yetesfa Birhann is a ministry developed by Cary and some of her co-workers for the young women in the community surrounding the school where they work.

Our Treasure Island staff will lead a ‘family’ team that will host a 5-day camp for Native American children. Serving alongside the staff of the American Indian Christian Mission (AICM), this team will be responsible for all aspects of ministry and hosting the campers. There may be some opportunity to participate in work projects around the camp facilities. People with a variety of abilities and interests will be needed.

The current plan is that this team will be working alongside the youth leaders of Victorious Gospel Church in Nairobi to conduct a youth conference. This will build on the efforts begun in December 2008, when the first youth conference of this type was held and became TTG (The Transformed Generation). This will involve all aspects of youth ministry, including large-group worship and messages, small-group discussions, and various activities to support the conference themes.
