In 2002, PC3 formed a partnership with Pastor Jackson Mwangi and the Victorious Community Church (VCC) as well as a number of churches in Nakuru and the surrounding rural areas. Since then, PC3 has helped build a home for the street children of Nakuru: Mama Hellen's Rehabilitation Center. We feel God blessed PC3 through this relationship with Pastor Jackson and Mama Hellen (Peninah), and the vision God gave them of reaching out to these street children. Approximately 80 boys and girls now consider the center home. Many are receiving an education at nearby boarding schools. A few of the older boys are receiving vocational training. In April, August, and mid-November to early January, the children return to the center to spend time together as a family.

To learn more about the history of our mission in Kenya, read the story as told by Pastor Jackson.

For Kenya updates check out our blog.

People at PC3 have the opportunity to connect directly with these boys at the center through our HOPE127 Kenya Project.

  • Success of the projects that will bring the center closer to self-sufficiency.
  • Strength in the partnership between PC3 and VCC.
