We have recently entered into a partnership with a group of New Tribes Missionaries serving among an unreached people group in Guinea, West Africa – the BagaFore. These missionaries have spent years learning the tribal language and establishing solid, meaningful relationships with the people in the village. After becoming intimately knowledgeable of the language and culture, the missionaries will be able to begin sharing the gospel with the people. Their next steps will be to write out the language and then teach the people how to read and write their own language. At some point in the near future, the missionaries will begin to translate a Bible in the language of this people group. Without this work, the people may be without hope of coming to know Christ and the blessing of worshipping the one true God.
PC3 is financially supporting road improvements necessary for passage into the village during the rainy season. We have assessed other projects by which we can help improve the quality of life in the village, thereby showing them love and helping the missionaries gain even greater favor with the people. Those projects include building projects, well drilling, water sanitation, medical and dental aid and training, and/or assisting with development and printing of the language and Biblical teaching materials.
