HOPE 127 is a ministry of Port City Community Church. Its stated mission is to link people of PC3 to groups of people in need so that all may walk with God. Through HOPE 127, we hope to connect people of Port City to others around the world, in the fields where we serve.
HOPE stands for "Helping Other People Everywhere." The 127 refers to James 1:27—"Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us." This ministry’s essence is expressed in its title.
The first HOPE 127 project, the Kenya Project, was designed to provide a connection with the children living at Mama Hellen's Rehabilitation Center in Nakuru, Kenya. Now, beyond our ongoing Kenya Project, HOPE 127 has other projects for helping people here extend their reach to others around the world. See our 'giving opportunities' tab for details.
Please join HOPE 127 in making a difference!
