Could you imagine your life if you were debt free? Have you ever wondered why your money always felt like it was disappearing?

Welcome to Financial Peace University.

Financial Peace University is a 13 week small group environment designed to teach you and your family how to get out of debt, stay out of debt, and build wealth for generous living. You will meet with the large group each week to watch the video lesson and participate in discussion and accountability groups that will change your whole attitude about money.

In addition, the group will cover information on:

  • eliminating debt
  • stewarding God’s money
  • the importance of tithing
  • creating a plan for savings
  • insurance options
  • ways to cut back expenses
  • long-term investing
  • ...and much more!

The next Financial Peace groups begin Wednesday March 10, 2010 running weekly for 13 weeks ever Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the Living Rooms at Port City Community Church. There is a two step process to register for Financial Peace.

The upcoming Financial Peace group is FULL. Please check back soon for information on the upcoming groups.

Also, check out below what some individuals have said about their experience in previous small groups:

"FPU has opened our eyes to just how big a responsibility God has entrusted us with in his provision and to be a good steward of money. We are not all the way through to "the other side", but now we are equipped with the tools we learned during the 13 week classes and are well on our way. We are COMMITTED to living the rest of our life debt-free, building wealth, leaving a positive legacy to our children and our children's children and most importantly giving back to God and others."
- B. & M. P.

"FPU is truly a great way to just stop making excuses. It teaches you to live within your means and really take a hard look at what you are spending money your money on. It has solid principles that really do work. Being good stewards of our money is so important, because God is who provides for us, and it truly is all God’s money and we need to all remind ourselves of that! This class for me was very similar to Starting Point. It starts at the basic gives you the principles and then you can just do it!"
- J. M.

"Please tell everyone that this is something that we feel should be offered to soon to be marrieds. We wish we had something similar 30 years ago! It's a class that makes you think twice about money and how to spend it. We are now more careful in how we set our priorities and there are less "money fights" since we do the bills together and one pays while the other balances the checkbook. Life is just simpler than it once was!"
- J. & B. P.
