The goal of pre-marital counseling is to encourage, prepare and teach God’s promises and principles for marriage. Port City Community Church offers free pre-marital counseling to those that call PC3 their home, and is required for any couple desiring to be married by one of our pastors.

Our pre-marital counselors have been specifically trained to work with couples intending to marry, but are not licensed professional counselors. Pre-marital counseling generally lasts eight weeks, and will cover God’s design for marriage which includes: the roles of husbands and wives, communication, finance, intimacy and parenting.

If you are interested in having one of our pastors officiate your wedding or to receive pre-marital counseling through our church, please complete the Information Sheet for Couples and review the PC3 Wedding Procedures for time sensitive information. Once completed, return the forms to the church office or to the information table on Sunday morning.
